Irene and Marc Guebert have been running high calibre restaurants since the 70's such as Le Francais restaurant in Rosebank so they know a thing or two about excellent service. For Le Soufflé they have chosen a warm environment with exposed brick walls and traditional red and white check tablecloths to promote a leisurely informal meal whatever time of day you arrive.
The menu provided, as well as the blackboard of the day's specials, offer up a diverse choice French Provincial food. Freshly prepared salad choices are available, such as the halloumi cheese, chic pea and poached egg salad. Using French brasserie as a staple but with a twist, Le Soufflé creates some beautiful dishes like the French burger with goose liver and port wine and the must-try calf's liver with onion and bacon.
Do not leave without trying the famous soufflé! With a choice of savoury and sweet options from three cheese with hazelnuts to the irresistible coffee and Kahlua, you have no excuse not to try.
