TKD TOURS is owned by Ntokozo TK Dube, who is passionate about taking people to people, to ensure that the client's experience of the various tours they offer is authentic and memorable. Their target market is international tourists as well as corporate clients & NGO's who are focused on responsible tourism & corporate social responsibility. They have now expanded the different tour packages that they offer, to those listed below:

Kliptown Walking Tour:

Take a walk through The Walter Sisulu Square of Dedication, where the Freedom Charter was adopted and visit Kliptown Museum as well as the Kliptown Squatter Camp for a social-conscious awakening experience.

Bicycle Tour:

Go green. Instead of touring Kliptown in a car, why don't you ride a bicycle and interact with the locals while learning about the history of Kliptown and visiting Charlotte Maxeke's home, different NGO's within the Kliptown Squatter camp and ride on Union Road, where you can find family-owned businesses that date back to the 50's.

Soweto History Tour:

Visit historically-rich places all around Soweto like Baragwanath Taxi Rank, Reginah Mundi Church, The Hector Petersen Museum and Vilakazi Street, the only street in the world where 2 Nobel Prize winners had previously stayed, Mr. Rolihlahla Nelson Mandela (Nelson Mandela House) & Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

Soweto Experience Tour:

Experience a Soweto tour with a difference. Take a taxi to Soweto's biggest mall, Maponya mall, Regina Mundi, Hector Petersen, Mandela House on Vilakazi Street, once a home to the 2 Nobel Prize winners, Mr. Rolihlahla Nelson Mandela, and Archbishop Desmond Tutu while interacting with Sowetans who use public transport on a daily basis.

Team Building Experience:

Why don't you bring your entire team for a team building exercise with a difference? Take a tour through Walter Sisulu Square of Dedication then visit a Kliptown NGO where you can choose to assist in a crèche or soup kitchen and take part in art performances by the local youth. Last, but not least, visit Post 77's artist studio &gallery where you can create your own 'I've been to Soweto' t-shirt. This tour is mostly targeted at corporate companies.
